Ryan Moore
Director & Principal Building Designer
Ryan has been a driving force in exceptional and innovative building design since 2006. He is a qualified and licensed Building Designer with additional qualifications in Project Management, bringing both creative vision and practical expertise to every project. Ryan specialises in challenging and sensitive sites, creating unique solutions that maximise natural light, airflow, orientation, and energy efficiency. His approach blends creativity with a strong focus on sustainability; without losing sight of practicality, constructability, or budget.
A hands-on designer with a deep understanding of construction and a meticulous eye for detail, Ryan thinks outside the box to deliver projects that are as bold as they are buildable.
Ryan’s commitment to thoughtful, resilient design has earned him multiple industry accolades, including three regional design award nominations, two state nominations, and recent wins at both regional and state levels. His grounded, solutions-driven mindset ensures every project is sustainable, functional, and genuinely built to last.
Jasmine McPhillips
Building Designer, BDes (Arch)
Jasmine is a talented architecture graduate and licensed Building Designer with four years of professional design experience. She brings a fresh perspective to every project, combining creativity with precision. Jasmine has a keen eye for spatial flow and thoughtful detailing, ensuring designs are both functional and visually appealing. Jasmine was also nominated for a BDQ (Building Design Queensland) award – Emerging Building Designer.
Known for her bubbly personality, Jasmine is a joy to work with and quickly builds rapport with clients, guiding them through the design process with enthusiasm and professionalism. She supports the team with her strong design sensibilities and collaborative approach.
Corinne Moore
Business Operations Manager
Corinne manages the day-to-day operations of Hinterland Design Co., keeping the business running smoothly so the team can focus on design. She has a strong background in business strategy, and HR operations, and handles everything from accounts and payroll to staff support and process improvement.
Known for her practical approach and attention to detail, Corinne is the person behind the scenes making sure deadlines are met, systems work efficiently, and the business stays on track.
Michael Matijko
Draftsperson
Michael is a talented Draftsperson joining Hinterland Design Co. in 2026. He is currently studying Building Design and brings a strong foundation in CAD drafting. Michael is also our in-house 3D renderer, producing detailed visualisations to support the design process.
He focuses on turning design concepts into accurate, buildable plans, ensuring every detail is precise and practical. Michael works closely with the design team behind the scenes, helping to bring projects from concept to completion.
